Hi! Iā€™m Rebecca.

I am a textile artist with a love for sewing and teaching. Originally from Charleston, WV I attended WVU to earn my degree in Fashion Design. I spent ten years in the NYC fashion industry working for companies such as Tibi, Madewell, and Nicole Miller. During a much needed corporate career break in 2015 I interned with the Textile Arts Center in Brooklyn where I cultivated a love of natural dyes, quilting, and teaching children how to sew. Simultaneously, I began studying and teaching different forms of Yoga; vinyasa, Katonah, restorative, and eventually prenatal. I soon returned to the fashion world and spent the remaining part of my career navigating the apparel supply chain and managing sustainable fabrics.

After my family and I settled down in Haddonfield, NJ I made the decision to forge a new path. These days I spend my time managing our family landscaping business, teaching yoga and craft classes, and creating textile art. My quilts and embroideries mix traditional techniques with modern sustainability practices by utilizing upcycled fabric scraps. I hope to spread joy through teaching others the craft of sewing while saving textiles from becoming landfill waste. I continue to find inspiration through motherhood, community, movement, nature, and textiles.
